If my shipping price is over the actual cost of shipping, do I get a refund?

Yes. I will refund any amount over $1 over the shipping price.

When will I receive my product?

Currently, I ship on Wednesdays only. As the site becomes more popular, I will ship more often. I ship via USPS, so the time varies. I pick the most cost effective shipping unless otherwise agreed upon. If you’d like your item sooner, please use the contact form here and I’ll get back to you.

How long does it take to make a custom journal?

Depends on how many journal orders I have. I will not take more than three custom journal orders a week. I’d rather send out a beautiful product than something that was rushed. So, if your journal is the only journal I have to make, expect it to be shipped within 3 days. If I have a full week of orders, it will be shipped in seven days. Short answer: 3-7 days.

Why can’t I wash the hand-dyed thread?

The love is lost! The type of dyes I use don’t love the thread. Natural dyes without a toxic additive will not stick to the thread well enough for constant washing. The safe chemical dyes I use last a bit longer but will fade with a LOT of washing. So, I recommend my thread for items that either will never be washed or only washed by hand a few times in it’s lifetime. Namely tatting, crocheted doilies and jewelry.
